Good Morning Everyone,
Its a twilight start but dry here in Brackley this morning.
Quite day for me , maybe rearrange my bookshelf again, I have a few editions of the yearly Good Beer guide in order , but as they are paperback type books tempted to stack upwards to see if it creates any room on the shelves.

Happy birthday Bluebelle! Enjoy your day!

Morning All

A fantastically red sunrise this morning which evaporated as I watched it.

Nothing on the calendar for today which means I have no excuse not to clean the house. Or maybe even the car as it’s dry outside. Although I could call on a friend I haven’t seen for a while and have a nosey at her new kitchen. She makes excellent cakes...

Sorry, clicked too soon .... I should have added a Happy Birthday Bluebelle. ??? ... Do let us know what it is you need to get changed for!

Good morning from a grey, chilly Essex. Off to collect DGS1 for school run and then woodland walk with DGS2. He is wondering if the worm we found last week is still there! Baby granddaughter had her first visit here yesterday evening and think she liked it!
Very jealous ofUrmstongrans stroll in the sunshine and wondering where Bluebelle is off to? cupcakeHope everyone has a good day xxx

^could snooze on the plane but I never do
Urmstongran Have a safe trip Think of "Casanova and have sweet dreams on the plane! hmm
You seemed worried about negotiating Ringway airport Aren't you using an airport in Spain" or are you planning to parachute in?
Don't wear your red bloomers in case you misjudge your landing and finish up in a bull-ring! grin
And wear your face mask; there'll be plenty of bull-dust!

Good morning Mick and all his followers.
Happy birthday Bluebelle and Bon Voyage Urmston. Just a bit jealous! We were planning an early spring, last minute holiday but DH’s leg ulcer is not good ATM ( 2 years 3 months and counting) plus Covid19 have made us think we will wait a while. I am thinking a UK road trip once the forecast is better might be the answer but I do long for some warm sunshine.
Hope today is kind to everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dry but cold here in South Yorkshire. I woke up in pain last night, no idea what caused it, so will be taking it fairly easy this morning. We were planning to go out and look at furniture this afternoon. Have a happy birthday Bluebelle; sounds exciting!?. Have a good day folks.

Baggs Wed 04-Mar-20 08:21:09

Another lovely sunrise in Argyll and I actually slept all night (not counting getting up for the loo). I placed a thick but not too thick piece of sheepskin under my duff shoulder and it seems to have kept it in a more comfortable position.

Happy birthday, bluebelle! ?

Easy does it, bellasnana! Hope your day goes well x

Baggs Wed 04-Mar-20 08:22:19

oops! forgot Morning, All! ☀️

Good morning from the Shropshire borders. It is dry today thank goodness as we are having new windows fitted.Looking forward to the finished result but not the process!
This evening my daughter and I have our first welsh class. My husband and son in law speak welsh and the grandchildren are being brought up to speak English and welsh so we have decided it’s time to learn although I have woken with a swollen eye so will see what develops.
Hope your anxiety lessens soon Bellasnana,it can be so debilitating?
Happy birthday Bluebelle???Enjoy your surprise.
Sending best wishes to all in the sick bay and all who are feeling gloomy or with other worries?
Hope the appointment went well yesterday gilly.x

Good morning all,

A bright but chilly morning here today.

Had a lovely afternoon out yesterday with my friend. We did a spot of shopping but our main purpose was to have lunch out, which was really lively. We had a good catch up of news as we hadn't seen each other for a while.

Hope you get your bookshelves sorted to your liking, Mick.

Happy birthday, BlueSapphire. ??Enjoy your surprise this afternoon. ?

Sorry you are feeling anxious, Bellasnana and hope you feel better soon. ?

Enjoy your holiday, Urmstongran.

To all who are feeling unwell or sad I send wishes for a better day today.

Mapleleaf Wed 04-Mar-20 08:33:19

Lovely, not lively ( though it did get quite busy)! ?

Ginny42 Wed 04-Mar-20 08:39:44

Good morning Mick and everyone. Late for me this morning, but my DD calls, keeps me chatting which is lovely, then says, 'Got to go Mum', as though I'm the one keeping her. grin

It's grey and cold in Cheshire, but the frost has disappeared from the roofs. Will hurry to get ready to go walking in the woods for some fresh air. A day of sorting paperwork then going to a friend's for a meal later.

Happy birthday Bluebelle, enjoy your surprise. Bellasnana, I didn't know what people meant by panic attacks until I had some - Awful. I feel for you. flowers Enjoy the sunshine Urmstongran.

Warmest wishes to those on the sick list, or who are caring for the sick. flowers

A beautiful bright but frosty start to Wednesday here on the North East Coast.

We spent almost all day yesterday at the hospital with me having to leave DH alone for a couple of hours to dash my dad over to another hospital for another scan . We didn’t eventually leave the unit until after 4pm . Well the good news is that they took the catheter out (temporarily?) but they are not 100% happy with the results, so we are back again on Friday for more bladder scans . Of course this meant that he was up and down about 10 times during the night but it’s early days so we will keep our fingers crossed for improvement.

Hope you have a lovely birthday surprise Bluebelle and that you enjoy your day. smile

I’m sorry to hear you are feeling anxious Bellasnana . Is there perhaps something playing on your mind that you are worried about ? Do take care . And Susan I hope the new windows don’t cause too much upheaval, I’m sure you will enjoy the benefit though. I hope your swollen eye settles down as the day goes on. Have you tried a cold compress ?

I hope you have a wonderful time in Malaga again Urmstongran and I look forward to hearing all about it . I am a teensy bit envy What I wouldn’t give for a little bit of sunshine right now.

I bet you thoroughly enjoyed your baby granddaughters first visit conor . I remember carrying each of my grandchildren round the house (and the previous house) to show them around and talk them through each room . smile

I’m off to “that place” in a minute....just finishing my second mug of Yorkshire Tea.

Have a good Wednesday everyone, (my third worst day of the week) .

Love Gillybob xx

Oh meant to add Mick that I store some of my books upright and some in upward piles. It depends how much space there is between the shelves as to whether you will fit more in. Good luck. I really enjoy sorting my bookshelves but often get very distracted and end up reading in between sorting. smile

Susan56 Wed 04-Mar-20 08:54:39

Thank you gilly. Will try a cold compress now??
I am glad that you seem to be getting somewhere with the hospital. As you say early days but good that he has another appointment booked and you are not having to wait and wonder when he will next be seen.x

Marydoll Wed 04-Mar-20 08:58:33

Good .morning all from a bright and frosty mid-Notts. Must be quite cold as His Lordship (the cat) poked his nose through the door and promptly came back in!! He usually likes a few minutes of surveying his kingdom at least!! Bellasnana - you probably already know this but concentrating on breathing can be really helpful- 5 in, hold for 2 and 7 out. Another appointment for me today but hopefully a quickie which I can manage to take myself to. Apart from that a quiet-ish day. I booked the first hotel of our Scottish road trip honeymoon yesterday so may carry on with planning our journey further north!! Hope Tuesday is kind to us all x

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Morning all. After Susan56 I managed to post, second time of trying today. Disappeared, complete with photo. Never mind. Happy Day everyone.

BlueSapphire Wed 04-Mar-20 09:24:18

Mapleleaf, you've got me mixed up with Bluebelle! Sadly it's not my birthday today; not till next month anyway.

lovebeigecardigans1955 Wed 04-Mar-20 09:30:58

Morning all from a bright but chilly South Notts. Hope it finds you all as well as can be expected under your respective circumstances.
Will go shortly to a charity shop with a few bits and pieces which I stored in a box for about a month to see if I missed them - I didn't, so off they must go. I don't really like getting rid of things but needs must.
Have a good day everyone.

Raining again. Have just got DH up and sorted, now about to leave to help with WI coffee morning. Think the rain will discourage some of our regulars, but I feel we had better do all we can while we can still gather with others. Some ominous noises coming out about severe controls being a possibility.

Glad to hear that someone is at last taking MrGillybob seriously and hope life will improve. Marydoll - look after yourself. This winter has to end at some point!
