this seems just crazy.

Gagajo Nothing scientific about your explanation jane.

Prove to me that those 10 people voted for Brexit, then.
Why should I just accept what you say without proof, or evidence?

Pantglas2 Sat 09-Jan-21 21:18:46

Remember the donkey Chewbacca? It’s still missing some bits.....

GagaJo

I can't read the DM Callistemon. It enrages me too much.

Nothing scientific about your explanation jane. But by all means pontificate away.

janeainsworth Sat 09-Jan-21 21:14:52

Gagajo no need to waste your sympathy on me, thank you.
Someone expressing a preference for a vaccine which was developed in a joint British-Swedish project does not, to my mind, demonstrate. ‘Little Britain’ mentality, whatever that is.
I like to look at things as scientifically as possible.
Unless each of those 10 people had been specifically questioned as to how they voted in the referendum, it is not possible to draw any conclusions as to how they might have voted.

It is pure speculation on the part of Biba’s friend, if we are to believe that is where the thread title came from.

No problem, Maw.

beverly10 Sat 09-Jan-21 21:07:33

Sorry
Blue?

MawBe Sat 09-Jan-21 21:07:23

Right, thanks Urmstongran it doesn’t take much to confuse me especially on a thread like this!
Sorry Beverly10 for being grumpy!

Callistemon Sat 09-Jan-21 21:06:41

Gagajo
Really!
grin

The DM has certainly got some people exercised!

Perhaps the Vaccine 10 had done a lot of research as the vaccines do work differently.
Storms and teacups comes to mind.

Do we have to write down our voting preferences before we can receive the vaccine? It's against my Human Rights.

beverly10 Sat 09-Jan-21 21:06:29

BlurSky.
Should beggars be choosers? If push came to shove? etc etc and all that etc etc??

Urmstongran Sat 09-Jan-21 21:03:40

MawBe I think Beverley10 was agreeing with you.
That’s the way I took it as she then laughed at biba’s premis about no-one being able to travel abroad.
Although in fairness, biba then clarified she meant more for work than leisure.

My goodness, this thread is Groundhog Day isn’t it?

I’m going to see if I can find some wet paint and watch it dry...

Lisagran Sat 09-Jan-21 20:59:14

GagaJo Sat 09-Jan-21 20:58:35

janeainsworth, if you can't see the link between those not wanting a 'foreign' vaccine and Brexit, I feel for you.

Little Briton springs to mind.

Callistemon Sat 09-Jan-21 20:52:26

Ouch, ouch, ouch

I feel better now, Lisagran, thank you!

janeainsworth Sat 09-Jan-21 20:50:50

This is not a 'covert Brexit thread' it is one that, again, shows that the links are there

What links, Biba?
You haven’t demonstrated any links between Brexit and 10 over-80’s in Stockton-on-Tees declining the Pfizer vaccine, imho.

All you have demonstrated is your ongoing obsession with the fact that some people voted for Brexit and your apparent belief that there are thousands families of your personal acquaintance in which the generations are now pitted against each other because of the way in which the older family members voted.

If such people aren’t in fact personally known to you, perhaps you could provide evidence for your claims.

Otherwise it’s hard to give your assertions any credence.

Urmstongran Sat 09-Jan-21 20:49:26

❤️ it Lisagran!

Callistemon Sat 09-Jan-21 20:46:32

You couldn't make this up could you?

That is so typically Daily Mail!

We're all going to hell in a hand cart.

Lisagran Sat 09-Jan-21 20:45:20

Here’s a brick wall, if anyone wants to bang their head against it..... grin
