Hope you bought the coat, labazs and we all want to see a photo of you in it.
However, I am still laughing (and puzzling) about the ladies in refrigerators at the wedding ... Help me out someone ... what was going on at the wedding?
Just buy it. Life is too short to deny yourself something you have always wanted. I bet you will look fabulous in it and get loads of compliments. And your Dad will be smiling up above
Of course you should buy it, Goodness Me! I wouldn’t be asking you are 54 although actually I don’t think age comes into it, you’ve wanted one for 30 years. Well you go girl off to buy it and I hope it’s still available, if not order yourself one, and what’s more well done on your weight loss . You must feel fantastic x
They had a lovely one of these coats in NEXT when i was shopping with my daughter and we both fell in love with it but didnt buy as neither of us thought it would suit. But if you have wear it just wish i had the courage to.
Oh go for it! You're just young! BUT if you don't please could you post where you saw it? I've been looking at them but haven't seen one in a colour or length I liked. Mouldy green, mustard yellow and puce are not colours I go for. Yours sounds lovely!
54,OP? that's not too old for anything! I must confess to hankering after a teddy bear coat, but the one I tried on made me look more like a polar bear. Possibly a darker colour would have been more appropriate for me. You are 24 years younger than me. I hope you buy it and enjoy it for years to come.
I've always wanted one of those shiny black raincoats that were fashionable in 1970 and which my mother said were vulgar. I could make do with a scarlet one, if black doesn't turn up soon in the charity shops.
Surely one of the perks of growing older is that we can wear what we want?
