Not sure how many packs you have but here are some ideas: Cheat was a favourite with several children, Racing Demon (a different design pack - each player needs a whole pack), Fish, Spit, Whist, Rummy, Knockout whist, 5 card Brag, Chase the Ace, Blackjack (and even Canasta and Poker with help)!
Some children take to card games quickly. Some don't. I've played most of these with my 11 year old grandson who likes card games and is happy to learn.
I had a friend when I was 10 who played a lot of Cribbage with her grandfather and taught me - but I was never a big fan of this and don't remember playing it with my children till they were in their teens.
We played a lot of card games and the younger ones picked it up by playing hands with adults or older siblings first. Strangely only one of my children went on to play Bridge... but of course it was the one who played with her grandparents and sister.
At 10 she'll probably give most things a go. I'd have to remind myself of the rules of a few of these but just Google them.
Also don't forget to show her some of the nice one-person games. Patience, Clock Patience and Napoleon for example.
Happy days and fond memories! How lovely! ?
