Happy wedding anniversary to a lovely couple. I hope you enjoy your day. My “special” day was yesterday when I achieved 80 years on this planet. Lots of mini celebrations in place of one big one. Lots of cards reminding me I’m 80. It’s a weird feeling.
Ann I know how you must feel. Keep optimistic, and fingers firmly crossed.

Yay! It's a glorious day. Sun shining as it did 32 years ago. Thank you for many kind and thoughtful messages. You are all darling peoples. We're going out for our lunch and I shall need to choose a suitable outfit for the occasion. That in itself is a treat. Phone has been busy. Lots of chitter chatter.

dragonfly You will be in our thoughts. Please tell us how your appointment went. My breast was removed eighteen months ago. I haven't see the surgeon since, though I did have an appointment for the remaining breast to be screened way back in the spring. It all seems a very distant memory.

Nannytopsy I'm so sorry that your much needed holiday in Conwy has been a disappointing experience. The situation looks idyllic. Such a pity that Covid has yet again scuppered your plans.

Happy anniversary to you, Soop and Macsporran. Have a lovely day. And to anyone I've missed for birthday or anniversary, I wish you all the best. I hope anyone with a hospital appointment gets good news. I am having a lazy afternoon, watching cheesy Christmas films and doing cross stitch.

I am on my best behaviour- honest because I am on my final warning for rudeness and sarcasm. I promise to change so that nobody is offended!!!

Awww! Thank you for all your kind words. We've enjoyed ourselves immensely. The meal at our favourite restaurant in Glenbarr was perfect and we had a glass of wine and a calorie-rich pudding.

Weather is wonderful. MacSporran set up the camera's time exposure thingy and raced toward me singing a romantic song. We managed to capture a decent enough pic to share with you.
