Only four. The ancient DVD collection mostly belongs to my three children (only one lives here ?) and exists but is rarely used. I only joined FB a couple of years ago to keep up with news from my karate organisation and the village jungle drums.

Apart from a DVD collection, pretty much none of them, although any gran who had teenage boys during the Friends years will know what a Rachel cut was. (My two swore they would love Jennifer Aniston forever and wanted to assassinate Brad Pitt!)I would say a lot of them (like well done steak and salting food before tasting) belong to my parents' era, and I'm seventy!

10 for me, and I really don't care! I like cappuccino and comfortable shoes, so will the 'super cool' youngsters when they're in their 70s!

4 for me; I will wear my pretty but bloody uncomfortable shoes when I have recovered from my next knee operation (though heaven only knows when that will actually happen ?).

To me, all but the salt on food one seem like common sense!
Perhaps we could substitute 'ancient' or other negative labels for one group by another with the word 'pragmatic' perhaps?

Turn it on its head and some clued up vlogger (are they current, or is it passe to refer to them as such?) could make a billion passing all of these actions off as life hacks, saving money/time ect.

Sorry merlotgran I realise it's all a bit of fun, but I can just see an underlying ism peeking out!

1. We have several dvds.
2. I’m happy not to recognise any Love Island contestants, but I thought that made me discerning, not old.
*Luckily I’ve recently changed my drink of choice to hot chocolate when not drinking Earl Grey, (no milk/sugar), though before that I chose cappuccino because it was stronger than latte.
*Underwear supplier varies but I’ll remember to feel really old next time I think of looking at M&S.
3. Oh and I still have a FB account. I use it less since WhatsApp and Instagram, but it’s still there.

I scored 10, and that doesn’t include hashtags which I don’t use incorrectly as I don’t use them at all! Don’t know what they are to be honest! hey ho

8 for me. I'm not on any social media sites - I consider Gransnet my social media. I can't see anything wrong with DVD collections. I have some, and so do some of my grandchildren.

If it doesn’t have at least 3 words in the title, it’s passé. It makes me laugh to see teens buying ‘skinny’ hot chocolate, then adding cream and marshmallows.

Mollygo In my case, being passe or not doesn't enter into it.

I hate milk. Since I was 10 I have drunk my coffee black and since I was 15 without sugar either. Straight black coffee nothing else. If that goes out of fashion, I will still drink it.

Gransnet is social media. I am on Facebook, but rarely use it or look at it. As far as I am concerned I have far too many other interesting things to do to waste time consulting social media every 5 minutes.
