Does anyone know what Archie Harrison Mountbatten-windsor like

Or even who he looks like. I love seeing little babies grow into toddlers and seeing their resemblance to relatives emerge but so far all we know is what Archies hand looks like and the back of his head.

Yes, I reported it everyone.

Thank you - I’m strangely comforted by your sharing of our genuine outrage but sorry you are unsupported by others

I always liked Harry and Meghan. Not sure what I think about them these days. But I do wish people didn’t write children’s books just because they’re well known and have had a child. It takes a great deal of skill to write a book for children: perhaps more skill than writing a book for adults, so it disappoints me that she has seen fit to do so.

Ok Susie, thanks. I enjoy your posts and don’t want to fall out with you. Don’t often agree with you but I do respect you.

My fault for not being clearer ?

MayBee your comment might be better on the book thread. Just saying.

Hi. This isn’t the book thread. It’s the photos thread !

Wondered if you’ve seen Nannan2’s comment ?

Ellianne Sat 08-May-21 14:01:45

I've received an acknowledgement that I reported the post.

There are many poster names who say regularly they are not being bitchy and they don’t hate MM. I’d really have a much higher opinion of them if they came on here and called out NAnnan2 for her uncalled for and cruel comment.

It’ll be slow at the W/e I think

Just something else Meghan is deemed to have done wrong- Mehan bashing again!!! She can't win whereas St Catherine can't do a thing wrong.. She did publish a nice little video of her reading to Archie. He's they're baby and if they don't want photographs of him plastered over the internet (if she did she would be criticised for that also!) then it's their business.

Puzzler61 Sat 08-May-21 14:05:54

I’ve questioned myself, and now ask everyone, what is it that makes us think we have the right to see Archie or any of these children e.g. Wilfred Johnson?
I don’t know why I do.
We don’t call for say, for e.g., Paloma Faith to show us photo’s of her child who she has kept out of the limelight.
The nasty, nasty comments about Meghan and “showing Archie off” etc. does not deserve commenting on. He’s just a little boy, and looks to be a much loved little boy by his mum and dad.

Ahh - but did you believe them about not bring bitchy and not hating her?

But it does deserve commenting on - ignoring it is in effect a form of condoning .

Nor me .
Wonder if Archie is allowed the company of other children ?
At least George and Charlotte meet other children at school Wonder what company of children the D&D of Sussex will have planned for their children ?.

I did wonder if schooling was one of the things which made Meghan want to leave. George and Charlotte will I suppose be sent to an exclusive boarding school at some point. Maybe Meghan doesn't like the upper class English attitude that your children must be got rid of and wants Archie to attend a decent day school.

Puzzler61 Sat 08-May-21 14:15:55

Yes, you are right suziewoozie.
I would never intend to condone it, it is shocking.

I know that. It’s just something I’ve been thinking about and just wanted to get off my chest without starting a new thread about. Apologies.

Excellent. Let's hope that it goes soon.
Who knows.
I've been told off by posters for criticising management so I'll bite my tongue this time.

I think that the only way forward is that we just ignore these silly, click baity threads, started by elusive OPs.
That's what I'm repeatedly told that I must do regarding troll threads.

I think that I will pm OP to see if she is okay.

Ellianne Sat 08-May-21 14:24:33

No probs * Maybee* and there is discussion of children's authors on the other thread.

Hummm but why should one group of posters be given free rein to post what they want ? And in this case the real upset today is not the thread but one specific post. It was obvious though that any thread like this would lead to problems and it has.

Alegrias1 Sat 08-May-21 14:33:34

I'll not be ignoring anything. There are people who think its OK to criticise people they don't know for all sorts of imagined faults and that anybody who complains should just move on. That won't be happening. I hope the usual suspects are looking at this thread and understanding what their nasty little threads can come to, and maybe feeling a bit abashed. Not holding out much hope though.

FannyCornforth Sat 08-May-21 14:37:56

Right-ho
I'll bugger off again!
Have a good day everyone smile

Toys out of the pram ??? Meghan not getting, as Harry once commented, 'what Meghan wants'.
This move to the U.S and now lack of photographs.? They wont always be able to hide their children from the public .
Children not children for long &with minds of their own.

ExD Sat 08-May-21 14:39:27

But she was right, Archie did have a lazy eye, lots of babies do, and it usually clears up by itself - if not it's easily corrected.
His eyes look fine now. (see pic of him with Harry posted a couple of pages back).
What was wrong in pointing it out?

Alegrias1 Sat 08-May-21 14:43:48

Are you people for real? Shame on you.

Me neither - facilitators and enablers the lot of them. They either agree with the post or they don’t - well come on and nail your colours to the mast. By saying nothing they are agreeing which actually I suspect they do. I don’t want to start talking about other threads but imo MM is actually regularly libelled not just gossiped about across the board. I’m not giving that free rein and I know I’m not alone in that.
