MissAdventure

Sorry! grin
Spoilt your peaceful thread now.
Lots of maniacal women scratching now.

grin And drinking tea!

MissAdventure Mon 11-Oct-21 06:40:27

It's times like this I wish I had a partner.
Then I could wake them up and send them to make me a cuppa. smile

I can see why my mum liked her Teasmaid.

Sudocrem helps with any itching I have. I itch more in the cold weather and find I need to keep my skin well lubricated.

MissAdventure Mon 11-Oct-21 09:24:21

I have a small pharmacy going on in my bedroom.
A pile of prescribed creams, none of which are doing much.
I've got some sudocrem somewhere, so I'll give it a try, thanks. smile

A canter. angry
Rightio phone. You just write what you want.

Yesterday I typed “backlash “. And out came “Kalashnikov “

MissAdventure Mon 11-Oct-21 09:42:34

grin
It's amazing what goes through our phones' minds.
Mine thought I was a rap artist at one point.
It wouldn't let me write 'go', without changing it to 'ho'.

Most nights we sleep separately so that OH isn't disturbed. I tiptoe around using my phone torch so that I don't waken him. I would love to see his face if I woke him to make me a cuppa. grin

MissAdventure Mon 11-Oct-21 10:44:32

Me too.
Wake him up and take a photo of his face when you do. grin

Mollygo Mon 11-Oct-21 10:55:47

I’m trying to picture my DH’s face if I woke him to ask for a drink in the middle of the night. ?

MissAdventure Mon 11-Oct-21 11:18:53

This is why I'm single and have to make my own tea.

FannyCornforth Tue 12-Oct-21 05:47:55

Good morning scratchers and tea slurpers!

FannyCornforth Tue 12-Oct-21 05:56:35

Not appearing in active hmmbrew

Mollygo Tue 12-Oct-21 08:34:26

Saw your post at 5.58, but the dog was making urgent noises and by half 6 I’d forgotten. It’s so peaceful around that time.

FannyCornforth Tue 12-Oct-21 11:20:57

Bloomin’ dogs eh Molly
They should have their own thread on here

FannyCornforth Wed 13-Oct-21 03:39:41

Hello. I’m not posting anything else until I know that it’s showing in the list, or there’s no point sad

FannyCornforth Wed 13-Oct-21 03:42:49

Woo! Back of the net!
‘Morning all! DH made the first cup of tea of the day. Unfortunately he made a pig’s ear of it, and sugared them twice. I don’t like a lot of sugar, so he ended up with two cups brewbrew
Is there an expression which means the almost entirely masculine trick of messing something up so they don’t have to do it again? If not, there blooming well should be…

boat Wed 13-Oct-21 05:19:11

I don't have one around anymore but I do remember him pruning the roses. He cut them back to six inches above ground level.

Perhaps we could coin a word but I don't feel very creative this am. Lets give it some thought.

Eviebeanz Wed 13-Oct-21 05:35:13

I'm in the bath drinking my tea, looking at GN, and checking out today's newspaper headlines on line. I haven't bought a physical newspaper for ages.
Will give your question some thought FC.
Would he respond to training do you think?

NanKate Wed 13-Oct-21 07:12:07

It’s the other way round with us. DH is a perfectionist and I am totally opposite, but we’ve rubbed along nicely for almost 50 years.

I once said I would like to help in the garden so himself suggested I dead-headed the plants. After about half an hour I said it was a thoroughly boring job and have never done it since. I do make my own tea in the morning though because I wake at 6.00 and DH wakes at 8.00.

Good gracious! At 5.35am!!

FannyCornforth Fri 15-Oct-21 01:14:39

I hope that Evie went back to bed, I know I would have.
When I was teaching I’d get up at 4.30. Completely unsustainable
Is anyone about? brewmoon

mokryna Fri 15-Oct-21 01:17:58

Hello, anyone there

FannyCornforth Fri 15-Oct-21 01:31:33

Hello! smile
How are you Mokryna?
Are you still in France?

FannyCornforth Fri 15-Oct-21 01:33:39

This thread was at the top of the active list when I first posted, then I posted in reply to Mokryna, and it totally disappeared confused

mokryna Fri 15-Oct-21 01:41:29
