It’s 42 degrees inside my patio doors!

Just that really.

I have a small barometer hanging inside my west facing patio doors. It’s dangling in a shady bit but I had one of the doors open a little and that’s the reading at 3.30.

On goes the air con.

Keep safe in the heat everyone.

Bring on the thunderstorms.

Apparently Cambridge had the highest temperature yesterday 34.8C according to the Met Office.

AreWeThereYet Lovely to meet you, I have air con in house in UK. Aspect means back gets lots of sun until about 5 pm then the front bakes. Rooms can be over 30° regulatly in summer.

Lovely to meet you as well.

This quite old home didn't have electricity years ago, indoor plumbing, a phone, the internet - I'm delighted to say we have kept up with modern inventions.

Our air cons easily move room to room, are efficient, remove damp, and make life in the fens comfortable in summer. Cheap as well.

Surprise, our vehicles are equipped with air con, ever since available.

We have air con in our bedroom. Just wonderful on those hot sticky nights when you can’t get to sleep. We only use it when it’s really hot and sticky but wouldn’t be without it!
