Is there anyone who has refused to have the 4th Covid Vaccine? I am due to have mine soon, but so undecided this time. I always get swollen lymph nodes near my collar bone.

Yes all 4. Last one on same day as flu vaccine. Take it while you can.

onedayatatime Thu 05-Jan-23 11:20:03

will take every covid and flu vaccine offered

Corkie91 Thu 05-Jan-23 11:20:49

will have every injection available if it protects me and my family , Covid is not going away

I have had all my vaccines Inc flu. The NHS is already on its knees and although my contribution is small I feel by doing this I am helping. There are not enough beds in hospitals as it is. By having the vaccines when offered, and continuing to be sensible I have managed to avoid COVID. Obviously personal choice but I don’t understand why you wouldn’t.

I have had two vaccines and two boosters. If I had known what I know now I would not have had any. Watch Dr John Campbell on YouTube and watch the YouTube of the MP presenting his paper in Parliament about evidence of Vaccines Side effects. It is alarming to say the least.

Not had a vaccination in my life even as a kid and never will, rarely at docs, I’ve even gone 12 years between one prescription to the next, I believe in my own immune system looking after me. Not saying people shouldn’t either, each to their own choice.

I've had my 4th Covid-19 jab 2nd booster that is and the flu jab for the 3rd time. I'm taking anything I'm offered vaccination wise.

Like many other GNs here I've had all my vaccines & will continue to do so. DH is same, and all family members.

Please don't watch John Campbell. He's become a menace.

The MP was Brigden, who is an even worse menace who spouts misinformation with seemingly no comeback and who needs to be reigned in a bit.

Davida1968 Thu 05-Jan-23 11:43:45

P.S. Seluj, IMO what's "looking after you" is the mass population having THEIR vaccines..... (I'm not a medic but this seems like common sense... and needs saying!)

semperfidelis Thu 05-Jan-23 11:44:05

The fourth jab here in Devon was a 'combi' injection offering protection against the original virus and the more recent Omicron. So I had it with no ill effects.

Those claiming to rely on their own immune systems are actually relying on the majority of us having those vaccines. Some people are unable to have vaccines and for some they do not work and those people also have to rely on the majority getting vaccinated, against a number of diseases.

who needs to be reigned in a bit.

or even reined in a bit..

I've had five jabs and each one was to appease my husband who is a decade older than me. No more, however. I had covid in December 2020 and found the worst part to be a feeling of being spaced out for 48 hours. That was repeated after each jab and I lso experienced gradual hearing loss that can't be accounted for. So after a four-hour long consultation at a leading London hospital involving a battery of up-to-the minute tests, the diagnosis is clear that there has been a link with increasing motion sickness and hearing loss - and the so-called covid vaccinations, and this is officially stated on the correspondence between consultant and GP. It is well known that the jabs are not vaccinations in the true sense - they do not prevent covid - rather they drip feed attacks on one's immunity which may not become apparent immediately but the medical profession knows about this. We have been duped by big Pharma and politicians who quite frankly have little intelligence or competence.

Vaccination isn’t just about protecting yourself. It’s about protecting others too! It therefore seems to me, that unless there are medical reasons to avoid vaccination, we have a social responsibility to be vaccinated.

volver Thu 05-Jan-23 11:52:18

They are not "so-called" covid vaccinations. They are covid vaccinations.

Want to talk about "little intelligence or competence"?

I have to go out later, but I'm up for it if you are.

I've had 4 covid jabs and the latest flu jab. No problems apart from the usual sore arm for a couple of days. It would be interesting to hear if those in hospital with covid or flu have had their full entitlement to vaccinations.

jocork Thu 05-Jan-23 12:03:26

I've had my 4th and glad I did. My son and his family caught Covid just before Christmas de-railing our planned visit but DiL had 4th jab as she is pregnant and was not very ill at all while DS took to his bed for a couple of days. The jab may not prevent you getting it but should greatly reduce the severity.

We are looking forward to a late Christmas celebration this weekend as they are all recovered now!

pascal30 Thu 05-Jan-23 12:05:08

with the state of the NHS at the moment why risk putting even more pressure on them by not being vaccinated and getting covid, which is still rampant.. I have had all 4 and the flu jab and am immensly grateful to live in a country where they are available and FREE...

Missedout

I don't want to engage in 'one-upmanship' but I've had 6 covid vaccinations plus flu vaccine.

If you have a healthy immune system, I guess you can afford to choose whether or not to have any more vaccinations. I know, with a broken immune system, I can't afford to take chances. I am getting out more but don't think I would have the confidence to mix as I am now without all the vaccinations to help to protect me. I know I can't rely on others to have all their recommended vaccinations to reduce my exposure.

The only vaccination that has given me a few days of discomfort has been the 2 part non-live shingles vaccine.

I am booked to have my 6th on Saturday. I had a slight hesitation about this, opted to take it. I have lost family, friends to covid and my brother was incredibly ill.
I don't want to take the chance of being one of these statistics.

Jules1960 Thu 05-Jan-23 12:07:19

I have had 3, the 3rd one I was so ill with the pfizer for 2 weeks, no more for me

Coco51 Thu 05-Jan-23 12:15:27

I’ve had six (High risk of serious Covid consequences). I’ll have as many as offered to protect myself.

sazz1 Thu 05-Jan-23 12:16:18

Yes I have refused the 4th booster.
Why? Because I had some serious side effects and passed out 2/3 days after each of the last 3. No warning, or recollection of falling, never ever fainted before or since. Just opened my eyes and I'm on the floor. That's my life or yours if I'm driving the car.

Bellocchild Thu 05-Jan-23 12:18:11

I've had everything on offer too, but after the third and fourth I developed a cough, sniffle, tendency to choke which went on for months. (And a bursa on my elbow just below the vaccination site, for no good reason.) I will see how infection rates stand before I commit to another jab.

jenni123 Thu 05-Jan-23 12:20:23

I have had all the jabs offered, the 4th one given with flu jab. However I have just had covid again, luckily not too badly. Had I not had jabs would/could have been worse. Think it odd tho as I am housebound and hardly have visitors, only deliveries, ie food plus well everything. Not been out in over 3 years and don't know when I last visited a shop. So glad to have had all jabs offered
