Good morning all, and a welcome to you Lizbethann, I joined this thread nearly 6 months ago now and have received nothing but friendly encouragement.
Weigh in day for me today - 1 and 1/2 lbs down this week, and I’ll take that as a decent loss. I’m getting close to changing my ‘stone number’ and find that to be a real incentive to stick at it and ignore the chocolate fingers that are in the pantry (they were a Christmas gift that I’ve managed to ignore).
I’m so pleased to hear that you’re feeling better Whiff, and that the COVID test was negative. It was good that the move went smoothly too, not an easy thing to do when you’ve got such a young baby.
Dorset, I’m pleased that training is going well, and well done on your loss. Being busy certainly helps with eating control, I find not having time to ‘think’ about food is good for me.
I’m now self testing twice a week for COVID - I think the govt diverted all those tests they’d bought in for secondary schools to all teachers instead. It’s a bit of a palaver and not pleasant, but it’s good to know that I’m clear twice a week at least, and helps me to feel more secure about doing my grandsons childcare on Mondays/Tuesdays.
We’ve had no snow here, although it is cold - I had to take my car to the tyre fitters yesterday to have a slow puncture sorted and now they don’t allow you to wait in the building so had a very cold trudge around our town whilst it was being sorted.
I plan to stay in the warm today and finish knitting a matinee jacket for my friends daughter.
Have a good week pears ?
