" Hurrah POGS It HAS sunk in!!! "

Sorry but my posts and the point being made has not ' sunk in ' with you at all!!!!

As for your comment:

" I know Far Left people and believe me they would make mincemeat of you".

All I can say to such a personal attack is I find the irony of the thread is called " Call off the dogs '.

Grandad1943 Mon 10-Sept-18 18:54:44

OldMeg, regarding your post @ 18:26 today (10/09/18), anniebach states much which is assertion not fact and blatantly sexist. . Just take a look at this gem.

Anniebach stated in the thread "Call Off The Dogs Corbyn" on the 08/09/18 @ 6:46pm that "all union members during the Blair government were Male, single and childless"

Just how sexist and non-factual can anyone get.

Anniebach Mon 10-Sept-18 18:59:02

Crafty grandad1943, no rather unpleasant , go take a few words out of context , you are not a person to discuss even the Weather with,

Grandad1943 Mon 10-Sept-18 19:09:31

Anniebach, as anyone can witness by actually viewing the post and the "run up to it" it is very much in context.

Anniebach Mon 10-Sept-18 20:19:05

I cannot copy and paste posts

grandad1943 said the Blair government did nothing for union members

I replied as he just posted and followed the discussion with

Minimum wage, paternity leave, tax credits.

I think I can safely say men who were union members with families benefited from the above.

Jalima1108 Mon 10-Sept-18 20:23:07

Anniebach no need to worry about them making mincemeat of you, they are too busy squabbling about what happened to their lost £millions from the sale of their London property (ies).
Being non-capitalists and all that.

Anniebach Mon 10-Sept-18 20:26:53

Jalima, compared to the blasting I took in the lead up to the 1983 election and after, poof ?

Jalima1108 Mon 10-Sept-18 20:31:08

As POGS said, it is ironic!
grin

Anniebach Mon 10-Sept-18 20:34:09

Taking a few words out of context is low thing to do and uncalled for.

An example of how the far left discuss

trisher Mon 10-Sept-18 20:56:53

My point is, if you read my post, if you and yours believe Corbyn /Momentum are Centre Left not Far Left then answer the ruddy question you keep asking of others
I would have thought it was obvious POGS . Centre left policies are those proposed by the LP. What else could they be?
When the debate reaches this level I despair!

Grandad1943 Mon 10-Sept-18 21:33:34

Anniebach, quote[ Taking a few words out of context is low thing to do and uncalled for.
An example of how the far left discuss] End quote

Anniebach, read your own post, what I posted was not out of context. Indeed what you stated in that post was untrue, un-factual, highly sexist and disgusting.

I will copy and paste your actual post as you state you cannot do that.

Grandad1943 Mon 10-Sept-18 21:43:46

Here is the full anniebach post of the
08/09/2018 @18:46

Post begins here:-
1997 papers released under the 30 year rule show Robens worked with the NUM to gather support, then agreed the wording of a letter from Marsh refusing Robens resignation BEFORE his supposed resignation.

And all union members during the Blair government were Male, single and childless..?
Post ends

Totally disgusting

Grandad1943 Mon 10-Sept-18 22:02:24

The silence says it all.

Grandmashe43 Mon 10-Sept-18 22:18:06

Oh grow up Grandad, we all know you’re taken Annie’s comments out of context.

Grandad1943 Mon 10-Sept-18 22:38:09

Where have I taken them out off context Grandmashe43

You can see the anniebach full post above?

Grandad1943 Mon 10-Sept-18 22:54:16

The silence says it all again

Grandmashe43 Mon 10-Sept-18 22:55:04

Think it best if you read all comments again,
.

Grandad1943 Mon 10-Sept-18 23:02:38

I have read all the comments, the anniebach post says what it says.

Day6 Tue 11-Sept-18 10:10:21

I don’t care if their politics is to the left of Marks and Engels. What I was is diversity and tolerance.

That's a frightening statement. Ye Gods! Anything as long as it's Labour?

OldMeg you seem to be floundering under the misapprehension that only the now Marxist and Momentum controlled Labour party is about diversity and tolerance. That's quite funny really, given the disgraceful racist, anti-semitism crisis that is at the heart of the Labour Party.

Momentum aren't for diversity or tolerance either, really, are they? Deselection faces long-serving moderate MPs who refuse to toe their hard left line.

I am amazed in this day and age that some people still cling to the belief that Labour is the party of the working class. It's not been that for a very long time.

It is supported by right-on middle class, wealthy liberals academics and revolutionaries. All quite violently verbally intolerant of anyone who does not share their outlook.

Anniebach Tue 11-Sept-18 10:19:09

Tolerance ? In the Corbyn/Momentum Party ? Doesn’t exist

grannypauline Tue 11-Sept-18 10:20:22

Deselction and a reselction vote should face every MP. It certainly did when I joined the Labour Party. The constituency party had the right to choose their representative.

We don't have MPs "for life" because they are representatives not employees - however long-serving.

Anniebach Tue 11-Sept-18 10:23:13

Previous .labour leaders didn’t have a hit list naming MP’s

nigglynellie Tue 11-Sept-18 10:52:42

If union leaders pay/salary is anything to go by then you're spot on about wealthy Day6!! Actually what you and annie el al are posting, like it or not is true, end of! At least that's how it appears to the less initiated of us and we are presumably the masses Labour is hoping to persuade at the ballot box! T.B knew perfectly well that perceived extremism does not sit well with the ordinary voter. This understanding was undoubtedly the secret of his success on consecutive polling days!
