It was sarcasm aimed at all of those who constantly complain about this couple.

We could always play with the letters à la wordle and make vile couple or stick to the allowed 5 letters and try lovie couple.

Thank you for clarifying. I apologise for taking the comment at face value. My only excuse is that sometimes sarcasm is hard to detect - especially on threads like these. And I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer either.

If they’d said nothing you can bet they’d have been criticised too…

as if they were the only ones who thought of it and the whole world was not already "standing with Ukraine".

Their problem is, that to a lot of people, they are just, inherently, very annoying.

Saying they are supporting Ukraine is what millions are doing,
but to say ‘they encourage global leaders to do the same’ ?
