Astonishing that he has announced this.
He has now put his wife, children and himself at serious risk not to mention all the other implications.

He is a silly immature and dangerous man.

Yes, Princess Anne can teach him a lesson or two. I doubt if she'd want to though. She's grieving for her Mother and is no doubt livid as well as heartbroken.

Yes actually.I found her quiet dignity escorting her mother's body from Scotland very moving.I bet the regiments under her patronage are counting their blessings. I also wonder what Harry's Invictus team make of his comments.

Caleo I beg to differ. I think it would make the Taliban a lot more popular to their followers.

In response to the prince's controversial claims, Taliban warlord Anas Haqqani tweeted: "Mr Harry! The ones you killed were not chess pieces, they were humans; they had families who were waiting for their return.

"Among the killers of Afghans, not many have your decency to reveal their conscience and confess to their war crimes." Daily Mirror

Remember when Harry visited the Queen and said he wanted to be sure she had the "right" people round her? Perhaps he should have a look at the people around him, he seems to have been very badly advised lately. Surely someone could have stepped up and said "Perhaps don't called actual human beings chess pieces even if they are the enemy"

What a stupid comment by Daily Mirror

What a stupid comment by Daily Mirror

It wasn't the Daily Mirror. It was the Taliban. 🤦🏼

This is just one of many on Twitter

(Pen Farthing is the animal charity founder)

merlotgran Fri 06-Jan-23 16:59:57

I didn’t realise Pen Farthing had gone back to Afghanistan.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 06-Jan-23 17:01:28

I don’t know if he has gone back but he definitely left staff behind.

I didn’t realise Pen Farthing had gone back to Afghanistan.

I believe he has been back for a while, he has been posting about the rescued donkeys and horses.

Definitely back, he posted from the donkey sanctuary yesterday.

I didn't think he had but he still has a team and a clinic in Afghanistan.

X post, GG13, yours more up-to-date than mine.

It doesn't stop him being a Royalist if that is his preference.

merlotgran Fri 06-Jan-23 17:10:59

Not really fair to blame the entire RF for Harry’s behaviour.

Have you read what he posted, #princeharry #notmyprince #idiot.

I think he has a right to be angry given where he is at this moment in time.

GrannyGravy13 Fri 06-Jan-23 17:24:42

Oops premature posting

He starts by saying he was a Royalist until today, he is obviously extremely worried about the situation on the ground in Afghanistan.

Iam64 Fri 06-Jan-23 17:32:08

Afghanistan must be a terrifying place for Pen and the people working with him.
I agree with gg13 placing some responsibility with the Potus. Blame though sits firmly with the Taliban. Their treatment of women and girls is unforgivable

But saying he is no longer a royalist implies he’s gone off the whole lot of ‘em.

I’m still a royalist even though I’m disgusted by Harry’s behaviour.

I thought it was funny.

OnwardandUpward Fri 06-Jan-23 18:31:45

I know but it made me laugh and that's an improvement to my day

MerylStreep Fri 06-Jan-23 18:42:28

Who’s to advise Harry? He’s surrounded himself with F@&kwits.

Allsorts Fri 06-Jan-23 19:43:24

Volver, I was referring to the comments made in the Daily Mirror as you know. I really think you have to let the armed services decide what is acceptable to say, it’s their lives on the line not ours.
