Prince Harry has sensationally accused Camilla of plotting to marry Charles, take the Crown and of leaking stories to the press in his bombshell memoir, MailOnline can reveal today.
In an extraordinary passage in his explosive autobiography, titled Spare, the Duke of Sussex writes: 'Shortly after our private meetings with her, she began to develop her long-term strategy, a campaign directed at marriage and with time, the Crown (with the blessing of our father, we supposed).
'News stories started appearing in all the newspapers about her conversations with Willy, stories which recounted lots of small details, none of which came from my brother, of course.'

Well, at least I don't have to read the book with you lot analysing every little detail as it appears!
You and me both 😂
you do realise that you are part of the 'you lot' by posting on here don't you!
Charles had two , Andrew and Edward

^Doria who seems so much nicer than Camilla^
?
How on earth can you come to that conclusion? Have you met both Doria and Camilla?
No, thought not.
I said seems not is.
Thinking about Harrys birth and how he must view that seems pretty terrible to me. Most children of divorced parents know that at one time their parents loved each other and wanted them. Charles never loved Diana, William was wanted, so he had an heir, but Harry was just there as a replacement if anything happened to William. The whole atmosphere must have been poisonous. Having Archie perhaps Harry realised what had been missing in his childhood. And who could he blame but his father?
The pain of having to accept the woman who had caused so much harm to his mother (and yes she may be very nice ) as his step mother must have damaged him.
There must be times when he wonders what it would have been like if his mother hadn't died.

He has so many mental issues and seems to be getting worse! What is his agenda, or should I say Meghan’s? They are not deluded and people are not really interested in hearing their pathetic tittle tattle. The Royal family are a normal family behind closed doors, when they are in the public eye they are ‘The Firm’ and are just getting on with their job. Enough is enough.
Are you a psychiatrist? What mental illness do you think he's got? How many normal have friendships to several serious sex offenders? You must be a little interested in the 'tittle tattle' or you wouldn't be commenting on it?

I agree. I'm not a massive Harry fan but if I'd had every detail of my parents divorce in every paper, it would be affected me.
Camilla is not the mistake - the fixing up of his marriage to Diana was the horror. - And her grown up in the Cartland mindset...
H is filled with hate for his family - and by extension country. Coming to the Coronation, seriously? If he were my son this would be the end of relations. The family are doing right by doing 'Grey Rock' - NOTHING else works when you have tried nice and helpful.
I think if someone is filled with hate, all the love in the world won't fix it. I've tried that.
If you're consistently nice and kind to someone, listen to all their woes but they get more hateful, it is time to step back and accept Im not enough. This person needs professional help.
I have a saying I developed I'm not a Priest. I'm not a Dr and I'm not a therapist I say it to myself if something is going beyond the confines of the relationship, to remind myself of my boundaries, of my limits. Some people need a Priest, a Dr and a Therapist (or other combo!) but we cannot ever be what they need and to try (and keep trying) will drain the life out of us.
These guys are adults. They have choices to engage with people who can help them or they can try in a hostile way to keep making their family suffer for their percieved or genuine misedemeanours.
Grey rock them. Because they will stop at nothing to destroy your health, happiness and wellbeing with their vitriolic hatred.
The Royal family has been losing its mystique quite gradually. I guess Harry's book is a big step in the same direction.
I'm quite sorry to say goodbye to the mystique of inherited royalty and I do hope the Windsors manage to retain their horse drawn carriages and processions with costumed horsemen.
PS all that happened to me was the more understanding and kind I was, the more angry my son seemed to get and he told me he didn't respect me for being too soft!
Some things are a lose-lose situation because "the only person you can change is yourself". You can't help someone who wants an audience /attention not help. The will get help when they realise they need help and until then the best any of us can do is get on with our lives the best we can.
Even if they never accept help, we will at least have lived a good life full of things we enjoy. Even though we are sad to lose them, we can still find happiness in other things and be healthy, also relieved to dodge that hatefulness which helps no one.
Why was Charles only able to marry Camilla because Diana died? They were already divorced by then, so he was free to marry again.

That's interesting and involves his position in the C of E. and the reason he and Camilla had to have a civil and not a church ceremony. Although the C of E accepts second marriages and they can happen in church it requires two things, one is a decent period between the divorce and the remarriage, and the second that the second marriage should not be to someone who had an adulterous relationship which was involved in the breakdown of the first marriage. Remarrying anyone who had had such a relationship could be seen as condoning it.
Diana might have spoken openly about this.
Charles could have married Camilla when they first met.
There was nothing to stop him giving up his position as next in line to the Throne. We would then have had Princess Anne, and what a wonderful Queen she would have made. But it seems he wanted both and he's managed to get it. The real villain of the piece!!
We would not have had Princess Anne as Queen; the throne would have passed to Prince Andrew, then Prince Edward, and only then to Princess Anne if neither of the two princes had male heirs.
Charles could have married Camilla when they were young because she was not divorced; whether the royal family disapproved of her or not I don't know; I read Charles would not commit and she got tired of waiting.
Diana would have had trouble with Charles' adultery preventing his second marriage as she openly and publicly admitted hers.
Charles wanted to have his cake and eat it, but it has left a nasty taste.
Now Harry wants to have his cake and eat it.
The Times is reporting that Harry tried to cancel the book after he came back for the Jubilee; suspect death of Queen (or possible loss of earnings) made him change his mind.
Incidentally, he must earn mega bucks to keep his wife. Do you think she married him for a life of poverty (sic)!

Sorry. I went downstairs and didn't realise we'd gone back to the nineteenth century while I was gone.

Why does he need to "earn mega bucks to keep his wife" before she married him she had a good income and it was earned not inherited.

Completely agree with Anne being a great Monarch.
I think Harry's response to all that went on in his life within his very dysfunctional family is, actually, healthy and if a person is constantly put down, unheard or gaslighted by those around them,( in this instance his family ) that is no easy dynamic to live.
It seems he felt he was left with no other (desperate) action but to speak to those that will listen and to finally be heard, in the form of this book. Being in the public eye is the platform he has known since birth.
Whether his actions are appropriate or not is not for me to judge as I haven't walked in his shoes. I won't read read the book as I already have got his message. I do hope he can heal and get professional help to do so, so that the anger that drives him can subside.
With regards to Camilla, this was not just a run of the mill second marriage with a son being resentful towards the new wife. This relationship was in place whilst his father was engaged and married to someone else( his mother)... now that really is unacceptable to most.
I feel sorry for them all, with every little nuance of their lives being commented on and gossiped about, by people who have never met them. Are our own lives all squeaky clean and lived out perfectly?
All the wealth and castles in the world would not make me desire that life.

He definitely has mental health issues.
I do feel we are watching the very public unravelling and self-destruction of a disturbed young man.
I find it very sad

If Charles had given up the throne before he had children then we would be looking at King Andrew…
The act which enabled a female to take the throne if they were the first born and not be usurped by a younger brother was not made statute until William and Catherine married.
Leaving that aside I do think that Anne would be an admirable monarch.
