Oh dear, I don't like it either, particularly the lack of definition

I don't have a logo at the bottom of the page Cherrytree only the top a maroon lady with a bun, another lady (lesbian relationship) and as someone said a merkaat sat in the middle and Kittylester I totally agree I would like to know who started the thread too shouldn't be hard to do

I'm not keen on the 'Active' button, I keep getting all the forums coming up not just the active ones. Are they closer together?

Font a bit Janet and John - "Easy Readers For Your Four Year Old".

No problem with the font, but on my iPad the overall effect of a number of shades of grey. No, I haven't counted them.

I would prefer the poster's name to appear against a coloured background, as in the past. Without that the whole page looks rather boring.

Apologies in advance as I haven't read through all the posts so this may e a repeat ... I just wonder, as there are male members, if the logo should include a male figure too?

Otherwise - all seems clear and as easy to use as ever, thank you.

There's a clarity that I like. This change coincided with doing a complete factory reset on my iPad - so not sure who's done what. Anyway, it's a 'go' from me.

However, think the logo is a cop-out.

I don't like it I'm afraid. The words are much larger [not sure if that's something I can alter?] and the colour is very wishy washy. The again, it always takes a while to get used to something different on the computer.

I really don't like the serifed fonts at all. They clutter up my vision with too much information . Please give us a plain font back. this is 'orrible.

It seems I am not the only one.
This is awful to look at! We will probably have to put up with it all weekend. Do something better that that pale blue.

Another forum I am on has a 5 minute edit facility.
Get rid of serifs.

Perhaps our friends in GNHQ are all too young to remember serifed fonts and think they are lovely.

I'm not young and I don't mind the serifed font. Don't mind not having it either.

I'm sure I didn't keep having to go back to the Active button after I'd read a post - everything seems more difficult now...

I have zipped in and out of the site a number of times today, since the new layout was launched, but despite becoming more familiar with where all the features are, it has in no way changed my opinion of the site. It is no longer user-friendly and I have twice tried to put text in italics like the word I have typed and it doesn't work.

You see, the word 'italics' in the post above should have been in italics - and it isn't.

Don't like it, don't want it, prefer what I knew - apart from the soviet-style logo, which isn't that different. Who is in charge of product development? Have they been given a clear directive to update without alienating current users? If so I think they've failed their remit or been misled. Sorry GN but I'm sure you could have done better.

... and I hate those miserable small colourless emojis. Just because we are ancient it doesn't mean our emotions are shrunken and colourless.
