Really riled about this. A poster started a thread earlier today about bossy pisters trying to control threads. A lot of other posters agreed and said they too had often been made to feel uncomfortable, belittled or jeered at by a minority of posters.

A couple of posters then came on accusing the OP of stirring it and saying people should Name names. Other pisters quite rightly pointed out that this was inappropriate and against rules. The thread was then abruptly zapped as 'not being in the spirit...'

Concerned, I started a thread wondering about the zapping and requesting an explanation. Again a majority of posters agreedand also asjed for an explanation. Again, a couple of posters came on saying they didn't like the original thread, and also objected to my thread.

Once again HQ zapped the thread with no proper explanation. What is going on here!

If you are an epilepsy nurse or dr could you please set up a help page! We have never seen an epilepsy nurse in the whole time my daughter has had a seizure disorder nor a specialist Dr. We see a neurologist now via the video link to the hospital but it is all pretty inadequate, in my experience. As her Mum (and she doesn't live with me anymore) I am expected to know triggers, precursored behaviours, what the seizures look like, when her medication needs to be amended. There really needs to be more professional support.

I'm sorry I've offended you. This thread was quite tongue in cheek, from my perspective anyway. I had just taken that quote from wikipedia and was thoughtless.

Stress can certainly cause seizures. That much I know from personal experience.

JaneJudge, no problem, I completely understand now. Services for epilepsy can be patchy everywhere but what your daughter has encountered is unacceptable. It's disgraceful!

It is indeed.

Yes, German shepherds mum it is quite a common trigger, as is lack of sleep.
