Many of the TV programmes now have "episode guides" if you google that plus the name of the show, or sometimes also on Wikipedia. I didn't find The Fall confusing, but husband watches a show called 'Justified' and I sort of watch it (because main actor is dishy) the storyline of which is very convoluted and sometimes confusing, but then I just read out the episode guide to him, and he is no longer confused and I am just as up to date as him
.
Re The Fall - the final victim wasn't the woman from the counselling session, she did indeed go off to a refuge, which is why her husband's dodgy mates came and threatened the murderer (Peter) and clamped his car etc. The final victim was yet another random one who fitted the profile of his victims, that the murderer found on the internet. He got careless and reckless with the final one and was rumbled because her brother came home with her, but because she saw him upstairs, he had no option but to grab her etc. The unbelievable bit for me is how the wife took him back so readily, despite his "confession" about the affair with the under age babysitter.
