So, as the trial has been and gone, we are all glad that Helen won, and Rob had his true self revealed, will the rift 'tween Adam & Ian be healed?

Whose jam will be judged to be the best? Will Joe approach his final rest?

Will Grange Farm rent be paid on time?

Can I be arsed inspired to write more drivel rhyme?

Away we go!

AyjayF Mon 16-Jan-17 07:48:44

So glad Stefan is stirring things up.

Thank you merlot. I posted before i'd listened to yesterday's episode so between your helpful post and last night's events it's now clear!!

So, did Lilian recognise Stefan?

Cornishgirl777 Wed 18-Jan-17 19:35:58

Yes,I think so

AyjayF Wed 18-Jan-17 19:38:19

Watch out Stefan. You've given Rob time to bump you off --or cover his ass.

GracesGranMK2 Thu 19-Jan-17 21:18:28

You know how on Star Trek, etc., they always used to kill of the people who haven't been in previous episodes ... we haven't really got to know and love Stafan have we? sad

Iam64 Fri 20-Jan-17 08:33:21

It will be this evening's Friday cliff hanger, won't it.
What will happen! Do we think Lillian overheard any of the discussion between Rob and Stefan, I do hope so. She'd tell Justin.... but would Justin care.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 20-Jan-17 10:34:20

Justin will care if he thinks it will affect his business and Stefan was threatening to go to the papers so he could want rid of Rob very quickly.

Iam64 Fri 20-Jan-17 11:12:15

Let's hope so GracesG. I'm still waiting for someone to work out that the half a dead dogs body that contaminated the feed at Berrow Farm, didn't jump up there on its own.

Lazigirl Fri 20-Jan-17 13:32:04

Welcome back GG. Have missed you.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 20-Jan-17 19:19:43

As the CA said - very satisfyinggrinepisode but now we worry about how he will react sad

Thank you LG. It's nice to chat with you all.

AyjayF Fri 20-Jan-17 19:25:28

Hooray for Lillian!!

Luckygirl Fri 20-Jan-17 21:21:43

Go Justin!

NfkDumpling Sat 21-Jan-17 07:30:36

Oh dear, Justin wants him gone. I do hope he'll put up a fight!

NfkDumpling Sat 21-Jan-17 07:31:39

(oh, sorry, I shouldn't have said that should I. Sorry!)

AyjayF Sat 21-Jan-17 08:42:25

Maybe he'll try to take Gideon/ Jack with him

Lazigirl Sat 21-Jan-17 09:40:38

I kind of feel a bit sorry for Rob......Yes I know, but he's clearly not normal and must be a most unhappy person. Pity is am not sure psychopaths can be treated successfuly and I suppose if they can, like alcoholics they'd have to recognise that they need help.

Iam64 Sat 21-Jan-17 09:46:09

That's the point Lazigirl, people with psychopathic/narcisisstic personality disorders (which if memory serves, is the diagnosis given by the psychologist in the family proceedings) have to accept they need to change. They then have to genuinely engage in a long therapeutic process, which will be demanding and challenging for them.
I don't feel sorry for Rob. I worked with people like him, I empathised more with the people whose lives they wrecked. I don't think I've lost my humanity, I do hope not.

Lazigirl Sat 21-Jan-17 13:59:30

Yes Iam, I know you are right and I certainly sympathise with the victims of Rob type characters, but just think that people with such disorders may themselves be victims, ie in their early formative years. I think am taking TA a tad too seriously!

Iam64 Sat 21-Jan-17 19:05:47

It's difficult not to reflect on what experiences contribute to adults who develop disorders, including dependence/abuse of substances as well as personality issues. There is some evidence of genetic links to say borderline personality and other disorders, the same with dependence or abuse of substances. There is also evidence that abuse experience in early childhood can contribute.
What imo we should never forget, is our free will. We all have aspects of our personalities that are less attractive, most of us keep them under control. I am not lacking in empathy/compassion for people who find life more difficult than others. As I said earlier, I'm more sympathetic towards their victims.
So far as Rob Kitchener is concerned, he was fortunate in having an excellent psychological assessment which will have recommended appropriate therapy and how best to access that therapy. Rob is in a position to get private treatment, so avoid the awful NHS waiting lists. He hasn't has he -

AyjayF Sat 21-Jan-17 20:30:31

Wonder how they'll keep the lid on the reason for Robs dismissal.

AyjayF Sun 22-Jan-17 09:01:58

Was his car part of his employment package too?

Nelliemoser Sun 22-Jan-17 12:05:04

I am worried about what Rob might do now. He is in desperate situation with few options. This is the point where he is likely to turn really nasty.

Lazigirl Mon 23-Jan-17 09:40:52

I think he may go after Lillian as she shopped him. I don't think Justin came out of it well. More concerned about business and reputation than what happened to the village.

AyjayF Mon 23-Jan-17 11:20:58

Do we think Rob (and/or Stefan) have gone?
