gulligranny. I really do think so. Taking the story step by step, she is grief stricken, all she wants is him and can’t/ won’t move on. He comes back, she is estatic , she is living in two worlds, working with the living, living with the dead. He obviously loves her and those last minutes when she leaves the flat, leaves the cello, he watches from the window , a smile and tears, she is back in the real world with the living, he is with the dead. I think it is such a moving story and it had to be told slowly. Well this is how I see them ?

Some of it was filmed around Bristol, so it brings back a few happy memories. The scene in the cafe was filmed in the Orangery at the University.
