Is there an old programme you would like to see being repeated?
Gold and Dave etc do have some good old ones, but there are some that never see the light of day again.
I would like to see The Onedin Line again.

The zoned in Line was shown again about two years ago and When the Boat comes in about eighteen months ago both on the Drama channel.
They also showed House of Elliot but I didn’t discover that till just before the last few episodes.
I loved A Horseman Riding By and To Serve Them all my Days too.
As you say - so many good ones.

Oh yes Boys from the Blackstuff was great.
I also loved Cracker

Butterflies was so brilliant and poignant, I'd love to see it again. And a wonderful series that starred Nigel Havers called A Horseman Riding By, I think. Another one I loved that also starred Nigel Havers and Warren Clarke was called Sleepers, about a couple of Russian spies who didn't want to go back to Russia!

BTW, Amazon Prime Firestick thingy catch-up is showing Series ! & 2 of Widows, we just binged on it last week and it was still as good as it was about 30 years ago.

MissAdventure Sat 01-Dec-18 23:11:01

I was a teen when butterflies was on, so I'd like to see it now I'm 'grown up' (supposedly) smile
I would probably 'get it' more.

cornergran Sat 01-Dec-18 23:24:27

Are you being served.. and more, are oon a constant loop on Sky, in fact I've been watching AS time goes by again for the umpteenth time, I could almost do the script but I love it.

I'd like to see The Cedar tree again, and someone mentioned Family at war, I'd love to see that too

I wouldn't mind giving Dallas another watch.
My mum and I used to be riveted to the screen when it was on!
