I watched the first part of the Netflix documentary last night. Two people who worked on the show said that it was originally The Trisha Show but when Kyle took over it changed very much. They were under huge pressure to find people to appear in the show, often working until very late at night and for the guests who appeared they were pressurised to make them say and do things that would make ‘good tv’. Regarding Graham, he was interviewed but was very defensive saying he was accountable for what he did but couldn’t be accountable for anybody else’s behaviour. As a professional in the caring profession I feel it was his responsibility to challenge anything that he felt unethical and he failed in that respect. I am glad the show ended and that nothing of that nature has replaced it.

I ve now watched both and a more damming programme would be hard to find Graham as a trained counsellor and psychotherapist was a complete and utter waste of time and in my opinion as guilty as Kyle because he didn’t protect those people at all he appeared very ineffectual and just trotted around behind Kyle like a wimp he didn’t have the peoples backs in any way Kyle was far more bullying than I realised in the few shows I d seen

I was very surprised to hear one of the producers (a young lady) also committed suicide after the gentleman’s death That was kept quiet or did I just miss it

I think the second part of the documentary was yesterday…

At least two more guests killed themselves after appearing on the show, one 36 year old woman killed herself after her husband was encouraged by Kyle to end their marriage. As well as the suicides some guests suffered mental health problems after appearing on the show, one woman said her husband didn’t leave his bedroom fir two years. After the show ended Kyle appeared on a few chat shows giving self pitying interviews. Six years ago I went with my granddaughter to an open day at the university of Surrey, many staff we met were saying that Kyle was an alumni of the university and there were a few pictures of him on the walls. I would imagine they keep quiet about it now.

I haven’t watched the documentary yet but I fully intend to. I could never ever stand Jeremy Kyle after I watched about half an hour of one of his shows I never watched anything again but it doesn’t surprise me at all what’s coming out about him now, I always thought he was a vile man the way he spoke to people on that program, it was like a modern day freakshow really and a bloody disgrace …
