I am delighted grin

I did like Seann. Felt sorry for him after the indiscretion and how his career crumbled. He'll have to find out about the letter from Domestic Abuse who called out ITV for platforming an alleged abuser

He was great in the jungle and good luck to him

maddyone Fri 25-Nov-22 22:21:43

I liked Seann right from the beginning but then I had no idea at all about what he did or was supposed to have done on Strictly.
Sorry he’s gone but it had to be someone. I like all the ones that are left. Wasn’t sure about Mike at first but like him now.

Zoejory Fri 25-Nov-22 22:23:07

I agree, maddyone. It's a good foursome left.

Joseanne Fri 25-Nov-22 22:25:17

The dream team for the 🌀.

Sara1954 Fri 25-Nov-22 22:31:54

Sad to see Sean go, but would have been sorry to see any of them go really.
The atmosphere has changed, they all seem to be having fun without bitching about each other.
Mike is probably my least favourite, but I think any of the remaining four would be a worthy winner.

Smileless2012 Fri 25-Nov-22 22:38:22

It is hard to see anyone go at this stage, I agree Sara and I'd have preferred it to have been Mike but I don't think Sean would have coped with the cyclone tomorrow.

LadyGracie Fri 25-Nov-22 23:12:12

So sad Seann has gone.
For the first time ever I don't mind who wins.

Chestnut Fri 25-Nov-22 23:40:41

The four remaining are all strong contenders. It's right that Seann left at this stage. I always remember him as an annoying idiot before his fall from grace, but I really like him now so I think the scandal was a huge wake-up call and he has matured a great deal since then.

It had to be Seann, I dont know who I want to win now.

Aveline Sat 26-Nov-22 07:32:34

I'm sorry Seann has gone. I don't care who wins any more. I most likely won't bother to watch the final. The winner will be that gangly football girl. I have no idea what a 'lioness' is or why they keep going on about it.

Millie22 Sat 26-Nov-22 08:37:07

I was quite sorry to see Seann leave but probably the right time. They all seem so much calmer now the nasty ones are out.

I'm hoping Owen will win but it may be Jill.

Gill is one of the Englands best female football players.

The England Teams nickname is The Lionesses

They won the European Cup earlier this year.

I worked that out GrannyGravy13 but it's not my idea of celebrity. Football is of zero interest to me. Mind you the programme's definition of celebrity seems pretty shaky!!

Seann was ok but I think it was inevitable he went.

From the beginning his laugh irritated me, he seemed hyper when he first went in but did calm down somewhat. He wasn't unlikeable but he was very annoying.
I'd never heard of him before.

That gangly girl Jill Scott is an England footballer, has over 150 caps for England and part of the team, the Lionesses, which won the Euros recently.
I'm not a huge football fan, but I had heard of her and she is an inspiration to many young women and girls.

Aveline Sat 26-Nov-22 10:37:51

Seann's laughing on arrival was pure nerves. I can quite understand it. I liked him because he was so open and honest. Daft too.

Zoejory Sat 26-Nov-22 10:50:24

I must own up to referring to Jill as football girl when the programme first started. My memory is appalling but I now know who she is!

I find this rather disrespectful Aveline.

I feel that someone who has worked hard to reach the top of their chosen profession and has led their national team to success in international sport is worthy of both respect and fame.

Still, Mike Tindall - who led the English Rugby Union team - is still my favourite to win.

Callistemon21 Sat 26-Nov-22 11:33:06

is of zero interest to me.

There's a lot would disagree, Aveline 🙂

The women's matches are often more entertaining than the men's and I must admit I've had enough of the World Cup already!

Aveline Sat 26-Nov-22 11:47:25

Yup I'm disrespectful about professional football and simply don't get why so many people seem to define themselves by whatever team they're following. I have 100% more respect for the little amateur teams who turn out on wet Sunday mornings week after week and actually play rather than just spectate. They don't earn anything either unlike the bloated pay packets of professional footballers. Rant over.

tickingbird Sat 26-Nov-22 11:54:08

I’m sorry Seann has gone but even more sorry that Owen was in the bottom two. I expect Jill will win but I’d like Owen to win. If Owen goes tonight I probably won’t watch anymore. It does tend to get boring once it gets to the final if there’s no one I’m rooting for.

FannyCornforth Sat 26-Nov-22 12:11:37

Isn’t there a Covid scare?
I’ve heard something on the radio about it, a few crew members have it I think

Cressida Sat 26-Nov-22 12:16:01

Aveline there's a world of difference between men's & women's professional football.

The women don't earn as much in a year as the men are paid per week. www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-62378095

Aveline Sat 26-Nov-22 12:17:46

I'm sure that's entirely true but I still don't care about football!
