Good Morning Everyone,
Its looking like the start of a bright and sunny day with a wind chill .
Today , will get bus to Buckingham , and then Bicester , have a coffee and shop browse , return to Buckingham , a coffee and sarnie, maybe shop and then look around the flea market hoping a dealer who I get things from is there.
Return home on bus ,and maybe a Chinese's Take Away later .
Take Care,
Mick

Here, just not in the mood...

I was wondering where you were, grandMattie as you’re often one of the first to post. Thank you for the reassurance and hope you feel like contributing soon.

Aw grandMattie that’s sad to hear. I thought your garden had lifted your spirits? I think though it your second jab - now? Soon? Whatever, I hope you find your mojo soon. x

Am cheery, but worrying about becoming an addict! So I may dip in and out for the next few days.
Has second jab on Thursday and was a bit out of sorts yesterday, sore arm and very tired.
The garden is looking lovely. We bought a phlomis variety... tada! “Flamingo”! I had wanted one in any case, but the name sold it immediately.

??
I think LauraNorder has the right idea she gives herself a rest from all tech, news etc every weekend.

Morning everyone,
Just had second vaccination so had journey through beautiful countryside. NHS staff were fabulous. I want to be like them when I grow up...Sending best wishes to all who post and those who used to. Determined to squeeze best out of the day. X

Dogsmakemesmile Sat 24-Apr-21 14:54:49

Apologies. It is 1454 so not morning.

LauraNorder Sat 24-Apr-21 15:00:24

Yes grandMattie this thread is all I allow myself at weekends. Orlin will peek at the 1 o clock news and reassure me that the world is still spinning and that’s it until Monday morning.
Lots of music, dancing, reading and laughter (the latter comes from Orlin’s dancing, think Jed Clampett).
Have a nice cheery weekend. If you don’t look on here again until Monday you are not an addict, and even if you are we would miss you if you stopped.

NOT Phlomis, Phormium!

So glad your scan was OK Urms. What a relief for you!
Grandmabatty that will be the Friarton Bridge which my DH crossed every day to go to work. Having a fear of bridges must make life difficult for you.

Blossoming Sat 24-Apr-21 16:09:41

I’m glad I don’t have a fear of bridges, as there is one opposite our house and I can see it from my window! Also I have to walk across it to get to the Marina, with its lovely coffee shop and boutique. ?

Grandmabatty Sat 24-Apr-21 20:13:09

Taichinan that's the bridge! I try to work round it but it is a nuisance. I can manage the bridge at Kincardine as it has lots of supports but the Clackmannan bridge and Friarton bridge make me feel as if I could drive off the side and I have to go across very slowly.
