I usually spend the day wondering how they're getting on----and most of us have never met.

Happy birthday mick! Having a lie in after a busy week. Long hours at work in childcare not recommended after 60! Otherwise catch up on housework and some nice lunch and If the weather holds some gardening. Love to all.

I think we’re in for a day of sunshine and showers here. It’s quieter outside, apart from a few walkers and cyclists. Not much planned for Mr. B and I today, we’re both feeling in need of some chill out time.

Good morning everyone. Happy birthday to birthday people and best wishes to those who are having a testing time. Cloudy here but no rain so far. No plans bar dusting bookcases and sorting out books for charity shop/recycling. Determined to pare down what we have. Duplicates of everything..

Good Morning to Mick and a fry up seems an excellent start to your birthday. Frost this morning in Cornwall and still chilly now as we approached mid day.

Good Morning to all the other early risers. Wish I could do that. A good night's sleep would aid such a challenge. MrM left me in bed. Tossed and turned throughout most of the night which aggravated my hip. He's now put my poached egg in front of me so I will return to read all the posts after Mick's.

Major excitement today; am going out for lunch with some friends at their house; well, she said tea and cakes, but I fully expect to have Pimms and snacks in the sunshine. What a difference a year makes!

Good morning Mick and all from sunny Lueneburg. I just came in to have my tea brake (from gardening) when I saw it`s Michael`s birthday. Many happy returns, have fun. Also, I read that gagagran is not so cheerful this morning. Same here. Breakfast on my own again. I hope that gagagran will feel on top of the world again soon. I am cheering up already. There are so many lovely things happening : restrictions are slowly being lifted and I may be able to see my new home sometimes after my 2nd vacc.
