I hope it was peaceful for your DH as it was for mine.
He slipped away with me holding his hand and for that I am eternally grateful.
The next few weeks will be very hard but peace will come.

Bless you and give you strength, Panache, to see you through your grief and sadness. He's at peace now and there's no more suffering for him. You both put up such a fight - you should be so proud - and that you were always together and with him when he needed you the most. Hold on to your memories - one day they will give you such comfort without this pain.

Dear Panache - such sad news but I, along with your many GN friends am thinking of you
There are alas many, too many of us who can empathise but perhaps reassure you that however black and long the night, there is a dawn and you will come through.
I hope there are kind folks to hold your hand , to lend a shoulder and .indeed share your grief. I would not like to think of you alone.
I have also replied on the other thread, but want to repeat tgat your GN friends are here for you and all send love and sympathy.

So sorry to hear this. I can empathise. Nothing anybody can say will make it easier.
