Please add my name to the support for EV. I don't know why she was banned, but this site is so important to many people, especially those living alone.

In the spirit of the season, please let her return.

I too would like to add my name to the list asking for EV to be re-instated. I cannot imagine what can have been said to warrant such a ban but surely considering what we have all been through these past months it is time to reconsider how & why these decisions are made.

I cannot understand how or why EV has been given a lifetime ban.Like so many others I always enjoyed her posts - I found her to be wise, witty and intelligent. At times she might possibly have misjudged her remarks - but did that really warrant such harsh measures.

Please, GNHQ, reinstate her.

Please add my name to the list of members supporting the return of Ellan. We miss her, her quirky sense of humourr, her crumpets etc. Sometimes this is the only place people have to come to talk in the dark times we have gone through and there may be more ahead.

I don’t know what it is she has been tried and found guilty of by GNHQ, and I suppose that will remain the knowledge of only themselves and EV, and we will never be told. However, a lifetime ban does seem draconian. People get less for committing manslaughter.

I would be so pleased if you would reconsider this ban and second every one of the above posts. It would mean a great deal to those of us who read the Good Morning thread as she is a kind and compassionate lady who shared her life with us.

I am another who would like to add my name to the list for EV to be reinstated. An 81 year old, living on her own? It beggars belief that in this day and age that she has been banned from the support of her friends on this site. This is, supposedly, the season of goodwill. Over to your GNHQ. Thank you.

I have no idea why the lady was banned - if we knew what had been said we would know whether to support her or not.

I can't imagine what anyone could write that merits such draconian measures. As others have said, we are all adults and able to ignore anything we dislike or find offensive. Anyway, being offended makes us think.

Shows what really happens doesn’t it? They act on reports. Probably don’t spend time on here ‘just looking’ for perceived misdemeanours.

Has anyone any idea of the incident that led to EV being banned? What was so terrible? The precedent of allowing banned posters to return has already been set with no undesirable consequences, as far as I know.

She often brought a smile to my face with her love of crumpets and daily reports of her menu.

I am interested to see that people whose opinions I never normally agree with are asking for her reinstatement, so you have obviously hit a nerve with a wide variety of GNers!

I am sure we have all at sometime in our lives said things which have come back to haunt us. ?. I have never seen anything written by this lady. It sounds as if she is much loved.

She too must be very sad and missing the Gransnet family. Christmas is a time for giving and caring GNHQ. Please forgive and let her come back. Thank you

she is 81 fgs and lives alone. If Gransnet don't let her back in the job centre will find her fit to work soon
