Yes! Surprisingly fascinating and informative - I loved it!

The rightful winner I agree.

I did feel they were scratching the bottom of the barrel to get them to work with a wheel going the wrong way!

I agree a worthy winner in Ryan. Even after some of his tubes broke, he still managed to put together a really handsome lamp. I thought the torso exercise was very interesting. I think Richard knew from the start that the game was up this week, but I really liked him and I'm glad he made it through to the final. I hope the programme doesn't go the same way as sewing bee, which I thought was very good (and I have no interest in sewing at all!).

Greyduster - yes, two good programmes, it would be sad to lose them both.

I watched the final on iplayer last night. I'd managed to avoid finding out who won. It was very good, Ryan was a worthy winner and what a nice person he is. I was sorry not to see Freya in the final too she is very creative while Richard seemed short of ideas. I hope there is another series and I'm sad that the Sewing Bee has gone.

I am sad it's finished too and agree Ryan was a worthy winner. Weren't all the contestants nice? It also made a change that the judges were modest, useful experts, unlike so many awful celeb judging panels where the emphasis seems to be on them. Their egos make most talent shows unwatchable.

I do hope there is another series. I too enjoyed the Sewing Bee and sincerely hope this interesting and entertaining programme isn't scrapped in favour of less cerebral tosh involving egotistical minor celebrities with loud voices and questionable talent.

I agree that the judges were spot on in their approach and seemed to really care about people - and it was lovely to see the participants freely helping each other.

I was also pleased to see that the talented Elaine who left quite early is doing an internship with Kate
