Are you a longtime lurker?
If you’ve been enjoying Gransnet for a while, but haven't yet plucked up the courage to jump into the fray with a post of your own - then this is YOUR week! It's time to take the plunge. Why? Well, we love that you love the site, but we'd love it even more if you were part of the conversation.
We realise that it can be daunting to post for the very first time, so for one week only <drumroll> we are easing the transition with the promise of some fabulous spot prizes. All first-time posters' names will be popped in the Gransnet sombrero - all you have to do is say hello here or post on one of the threads below, and boom, you're in.

As if we would leave you out! Seasoned gransnetters who extend the hand of friendship to new posters will also have their names put in the hat.

Our usual competition terms and conditions apply. Lurkers' week will run from 9am Monday 9 March to 5pm Friday 13 March.
We will be giving away one of the above featured prizes per day to someone (drawn at random) who has posted on one of our lurkers' week threads.
A draw will take place each morning to find a winner from the previous day's threads (so Tuesday morning for Monday threads etc) and all winners notified by email by Monday 16 March.
Spot prizes include books and our exclusive tea towels and will b drawn (again at random) at various times during the week.
Winners of our data quizzes will also be notified by email. Closing time/dates for these appear on the relevant threads.
